About Qii Creative
Qii Creative is a data-led digital agency headquartered in Darwin, Australia, with its full operations team based in Bangladesh. We help brands across Australia and beyond grow through measurable business results.
Our services cover web design and development, custom software, AI development—including chatbots, automation, and AI search optimisation—video content creation, SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, graphic design, and Amazon store management. We work with e-commerce and retail brands, real estate businesses, startups, and local service providers.
We are a lean, independent agency. Senior specialists work directly on client accounts, and our Bangladesh team works hands-on with Australian clients, real budgets, and real targets from day one.
About the Role
You will be the engineer working closest to our clients, turning real operational challenges into working solutions.
An Australian business might need faster lead follow-up, less manual administration, or a better way to manage messages across social channels. You will understand the problem, develop the solution, and deploy it within the client’s systems.
That solution might be an AI chatbot, a workflow automation, or a custom integration. Success will be measured by whether clients adopt what you build and achieve meaningful results from it.
What You Will Do
- Meet clients alongside our Australian team to understand their workflows, identify valuable AI and automation opportunities, and scope practical solutions.
- Build and deploy AI solutions end to end, including chatbots, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) over client data, and AI search optimisation features.
- Integrate solutions with client tools, including CRMs such as HubSpot, GoHighLevel, and Salesforce; e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce; booking systems; databases; and messaging channels such as Meta Messenger, Instagram, and the WhatsApp Business API.
- Build automations and APIs using code, alongside tools such as n8n, Make, or Zapier where appropriate.
- Set up hosting, deployment pipelines, and monitoring on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Troubleshoot issues in client environments and improve reliability, speed, and cost efficiency.
- Turn recurring client needs into reusable components and templates for future projects.
- Train client teams, write clear documentation, and track adoption and ROI after launch.
- Explain technical trade-offs clearly to non-technical business owners.
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in client-facing work such as an agency, consultancy, SaaS implementation, or solutions engineering.
- Strong Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript skills, including Node.js, alongside solid SQL and REST API capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source models, covering prompt design, function and tool calling, RAG, and vector databases.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and webhooks, including CRMs, payment gateways, or the Meta Graph API.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with Docker and CI/CD.
- Front-end skills in React or Next.js for building simple dashboards and interfaces are an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English for direct communication with Australian clients.
- A consulting mindset: curiosity about the business problem, confidence working with unclear requirements, and a focus on delivering working solutions.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
